Academic writing is very different from literary or journalistic writing. It has a specific purpose and is connected to a long academic tradition where knowledge is systematically received, communicated, and advanced.
Here is a tutorial on using Zotero, Google Scholar and Google Docs combination to relieve some of the clerical effort of writing a paper freeing up your time to be creative.
Embedding a paper on your page Google docs doesn't give you a very useful embed code so you need to tweak the code to get it to display properly. Specifically, you need to add a sizing element to the embed code. You can add a whole new iframe which might be easiest or you can add the elements you need to the iframe that came from Google docs.
